The Prices: Rooms A copious breakfast is included in the price. Le Mûrier 65 euros Le Tilleul 65 euros. L'If 65 euros. Le Noisetier 50 euros, 2 people, 45 euros, 1 person. Extra bed: 10 euros Prices include local tax 'taxe de séjour'. Evening meals: We occasionally do evening meals: 3 course dinner: main dish, green salade served with a selection of cheese, a dessert, carafe of wine, aperitif, coffee or herbal tea. 26 euros per person. Children 5 - 12 years old - 17 euros each. Summer Platter: In the summer we can provide a lighter supper platter, which comprises of variations of Tapas style small dishes, as an example; selection of cold meats, olives, bruchetta, tortilla & marinated anchovies. Green salade served with a selection of cheese, a glass of wine. 17 euros per person. By reservation only, 24 hours in advance. A small list of wines and spirits to go with your meal is also available.

Le salon is for the use of our guests, for the times that you wish to relax and unwind. Furnished with items we have 'chinés' found at local flea markets and brocantes. There are books to read and some games to be played. It's a peaceful haven. In the cold winter months we light the fire. In the summer we open the french windows onto the terrace filled with flowers. The breakfast and dinners are serve in the salon 'en famille' around the large farmhouse table with the other guests. The Terrace Evening dinners We love to entertain and meet new people. John a real foodie, likes to produce good food and share his passion with our guests . We are proud to be able to prepare your food with local produce or fruit and vegetables from our garden, organic if possible. Dinners are served in the salon or in the summer if possible on the terrace that has fabulous views to the countryside.. In the winter the fire is lit and candles adorn the table and salon. Very cosy. Sample of the Menu Roast loin of pork with lemon & sage on a bed of Puy lentils & pancetta, mustard sauce, pureed potatoes & seasonal veg. Salmon with a black pepper crust, butter with fine herbs & parmesan, served on a bed of pureed potatoes.. Lamb cutlets with rosemary sauted potatoes & pan fried ratatouille. Vanilla panna cotta with a fresh fruit salsa. Quince Tarte Tatin, served with a cardomen sauce. Tarte au Citron with a raspberry coulis. The Breakfast A copious continental breakfast is served; pastries & breads from our excellent village baker. A selection of jams, honey, yogurt, fruit juice, tea, coffee or hot chocolat. Evening dinner is by reservation only, to be booked a day in advance. Vegetarians willingly catered for. Where possible we use locally sourced organic produce if available & organic wines, produced at a local vineyard. For the comfort of all our guests the house and rooms are non-smoking. |
